Courier of CourageMany young children across Long Island have experienced a hardship in their lives. Despite life's struggles, these kids have overcome obstacles to get where they are today. The "Courier of Courage" program acknowledges these children for the battles they've faced and the hardships they've overcome. Behind the funding of CNBC's Joe Terranova, the "Courier of Courage" will deliver the game puck to the NHL officials before select 2013-14 Islanders home games during an on-ice presentation.
