Traded to the Edmonton Oilers, along with Jochen Hecht and Jan Horacek, in exchange for Doug Weight and Michel Riesen on July 1, 2001. Signed as a free agent by Salzburg (Austria) on January 30, 2005. Traded to the Boston Bruins, along with Yan Stastny and Edmonton’s second round pick (Milan Lucic) in the 2006 NHL Draft, in exchange for Sergei Samsonov on March 9, 2006. Signed as a free agent by Edmonton on July 4, 2006. Signed as a free agent by the Atlanta Thrashers on July 17, 2008. Traded from Atlanta to the Chicago Blackhawks with Joey Crabb, Jeremy Morin, and New Jersey’s first and second round choices in the 2010 NHL Draft, in exchange for Brent Sopel, Dustin Byfuglien, Ben Eager and Akim Aliu on June 24, 2010. Traded from Chicago to the Florida Panthers in exchange for Jeff Taffe on July 22, 2010.

2007-08: Played in all 82 games with Edmonton, recording 11 goals and 14 assists in his 10th professional season…Tallied a season-best three points (1g/2a) on Mar. 22 vs. Colorado.

2006-07:
Scored 20 points (6g/14a) during his second stint with Edmonton, accumulating 60 penalty minutes in 72 games…Recorded two two-point games on the season (Nov. 24 vs. Chicago, Feb. 1 at Vancouver).

2005-06: Split the season between Edmonton and Boston…Started the season with the Oilers, skating in 58 games and tallying 26 points (9g/17a)…Added five power-play goals and one game-winning goal, before being traded to the Bruins…Recorded two goals and six assists in 19 games with Boston.

2004-05: Played in 11 games with the EC Red Bull in Salzburg, Austria during the NHL lockout…Tallied five goals and four assists and added 12 penalty minutes.
