Selected by the New York Rangers in the seventh round (182th overall) of the 1997 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Traded to the Calgary Flames in exchange for Calgary’s sixth round choice (Ivan Dornic) in the 2003 Draft and future considerations on January 22, 2003. Signed as a free agent by the Anaheim Ducks on July 25, 2003. Signed as a free agent by the Worcester IceCats (American Hockey League) on September 30, 2004. Signed as a free agent by the New Jersey Devils on July 17, 2006.

LAST SEASON:

Was limited to 20 games in his first season with the Islanders due to eye and hip injuries...Made his Islanders debut in the seasonopener on Oct. 9 vs. Dallas…Had a two-assist game on Oct. 11 vs. NY Rangers for his first points with the Islanders…Was hit in the right eye by a puck on Nov. 21 at Atlanta and did not return to action…Was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 22 and underwent season-ending hip surgery.

Represented the United States at the 1999, 2000 and 2003 World Championships, as well as 1998 World Junior tournament.

PLAYOFFS:

2009: Scored two points (1g/1a) for New Jersey in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals vs. Carolina. 2008: Made his NHL playoff debut in game one of the ECQF vs. NY Rangers.
