Led Providence College in goals with 13 during his senior year competing in Hockey East...Added four assists for 17 points...Served as co-captain. 2005-06: Led Providence in scoring during his junior season with a career-high 28 points (9g/19a) in 36 games. 2004-05: Matched his freshman year output with 16 points (11g/5a) despite appearing in just 26 games with Providence as a sophomore. 2003-04: Was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team and earned Providence’s Most Valuable Freshman award after netting 16 points (10g/6a) in 37 games.

PLAYOFFS:
2013:
Made his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut, scoring three points (2g/1a) in six games of the Islanders’ Eastern Conference Quartferfinals against Pittsburgh.

JUNIOR:

Played two seasons with the New England Coyotes of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (2001-02; 2002-03)...Led the league in scoring in 2002-03 with 58 points (28g/30a), earning the EJHL Offensive Player of the Year award and league MVP honors.
