LAST SEASON: Appeared in 20 NHL games with the Islanders and 48 American Hockey League games with the Bridgeport Sound Tiges during his third professional season...Recalled from Bridgeport on Nov. 7...Scored his first NHL goal on Nov. 14 vs. Los Angeles (Ben Scrivens)...Recorded his first NHL assist on Nov. 16 vs. Detroit...Returned on loan to Bridgeport on Jan. 1...Totaled 20 points (6g/14a) with Bridgeport, ranking seventh on the team and third among defensemen.

CAREER: 2012-13:
Scored 27 points (3g/24a) in 76 games during his second season with Bridgeport (AHL)... Was the only player on the team to appear in all 76 regular season games...Finished third among Sound Tigers defensemen with 27 points...Had at least one assist in nine of the team’s first 16 games...Had points in four-of-five games (1g/4a) from Jan. 8-19.  2011-12: Scored 27 points (5g/22a) as a rookie during his first full season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL...Finished second among Bridgeport defensemen and ninth overall in points...Also appeared in nine games with the Islanders...Was recalled from Bridgeport on emergency basis on Feb. 6 and made his NHL debut on Feb. 7 at Philadelphia...Returned to Bridgeport on Feb. 23 after nine games...With Bridgeport, recorded his first-career multi-goal game on Feb. 26 vs. Albany...Added an empty-netter to clinch the 2011-12 Northeast Division title on Apr. 13 at Providence... HIGH SCHOOL: 2007-08:
Helped lead Roseau High School (Minnesota) to a 25-0 regular season record...Scored 72 points (28g/44a) in 31 games...Ranked first in Minnesota High School Hockey in points by a defenseman...Won the “Mr. Hockey” Award as the top high school player in Minnesota, becoming the first player from Roseau to do so.
