WHAT THEY'RE SAYING Islanders Chief European Scout Vellu-Pekka Kautonen: “Jyri was ranked to go at the end of the first round or early in the second. He's a very good skater good, has good size and has a mean streak. He probably has the hardest shot in the draft at 97 miles per hour and he's only 17. It can only get harder and should get to over 100. He did real well with his transition to the North American game. I met with him recently and he was extremely happy about playing in North American and wants to continue playing there.”
