Family Fan Fest Attends Boy Scout "Scoutwalk"

The Islanders Fan Fest made a stop at Christopher Morley Park in Searingtown to be a part of the Boy Scout’s big "Scoutwalk" event that they hold each year. The event is held each year to raise money for improvements amongst that many Boy Scout camps across Long Island. Some of the attractions at the event included pig racing, a marshmallow gun shooting range, a chili cook off, and of course, the Islanders Fan Fest. Read more here.

On Wednesday night in the Nassau Coliseum, Islanders fans heard from the Islanders' leaders about the franchise's plans, both on and off the ice. Islanders owner Charles Wang, GM Garth Snow, head coach Ted Nolan and Senior VP of Sales, Marketing and Operations Chris Dey were among the speakers at a special Town Hall event that provided a clearer picture to Islanders "stakeholders" – the fans – about the direction of their team. Ice Girls Congratulate Student Athletes

Monday night was awards night for the student athletes of High School West, a part of the Half Hollow Hills school district in Dix Hills. From 7 to 9 pm, student athletes of the high school were recognized for their great seasons. A special treat for the students was their special presenters. Sparky Marches at Little League Parade

With many of his biggest fans preparing to begin their little league baseball season, Sparky decided to stop in Dix Hills to be a part of the Half Hollow Hills Little League Parade. The parade started at Candlewood Middle School in Dix Hills at 8am. Over 300 young athletes, all sporting their different jerseys, lined up and marched the entire parade route in front of their friends and family. Read more here.
