50/50 Raffle

Here’s your chance to win money, while helping a good cause. At every Islanders game, you can purchase 50/50 raffle tickets at various gates on the concourse. Half of the earnings go towards charitable causes, including the Islanders Children’s Foundation, and the other half is for the raffle winner! You can purchase tickets up until the start of the 3rd period. During the final period, the winning raffle ticket will be announced in the arena and on the scoreboard.

Accessible Seating
Tickets are available for purchase at the Nassau Coliseum Box Office or by calling 1.800.882.ISLES – Ext. 2. Guests with disabilities may purchase a ticket for themselves along with one companion seat. The seating locations within the Nassau Coliseum for accessible seats are at the top of Sections 202, 206, 209 and 222.

Affiliated Organizations
Affiliate organizations of the New York Islanders include the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Utah Grizzlies, and New York Dragons Arena Football.

Alcohol Policy
Coliseum guests are expected to drink responsibly. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and drink alcohol. Proper identification is necessary to purchase any alcoholic beverage. There is a limit of two beers sold per guest. Coliseum management reserves the right to reduce the purchase limit and discontinue sales at any time. Alcohol can not be transported into or out of the Coliseum. Guests will not be permitted to enter the Coliseum if they appear intoxicated. The consumption of alcohol is prohibited in the parking lots. Drunk and disorderly behavior or violation of any alcohol policy will result in ejection and/or expulsion from any and all upcoming Nassau Coliseum events.

Autographs
Pre-signed merchandise is available at the Game Night Auction located at Gate 17 in the Nassau Coliseum. The Islanders do not hold organized autograph sessions on game nights.

Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s)
There are two ATM locations in the Coliseum. One is located to the right of the escalators in the Box Office lobby and the other is across from Gate 10 on the concourse.

Scoreboard Messages
For a $50 donation to the Islanders Children's Foundation you can have a birthday message posted on the Coliseum scoreboard during an Islanders home game. Messages are limited to ten (10) words or less and will appear on the scoreboard during the second period.  Call 800.882.ISLES – Ext. 7 to arrange your birthday message.  All donations should be cash or check made payable to: “New York Islanders Children's Foundation”.  Donations can also be submitted securely online through the “Donate Now” link on the Children’s Foundation page.  All message requests and payments MUST be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the desired game. 
  
Bohemian Room
The Bohemian Room is located in the Lower Lobby, to the right of the escalators, which can be accessed from the Box Office lobby.  It opens an hour and a half before Islanders games begin and closes an hour after the final buzzer.

Box Office
The Nassau Coliseum Box Office is open every day from 9:30 am – 4:45 pm. On game days, the box office stays open until midway through the second period.  The entrance to the Box Office is located in the plaza across from the Marriott hotel, on the east side of the Coliseum.

Bridgeport Sound Tigers

Cameras and Video Equipment

Single frame and flash photography are allowed for New York Islanders home games.  Video Cameras are not permitted.

Cellular Phones
The use of cellular phones is prohibited at the Box Office, but is permitted everywhere else within the Arena – providing that the use of these items does not interfere with other guest’s enjoyment of the game.

Charles B. Wang Ice Hockey Project Hope
Founded by Islanders owner Charles Wang, Project Hope’s ultimate goal is to provide young Chinese athletes with access to educational opportunities. Project Hope endeavors to create opportunities for cultural exchange through international youth hockey events and by promoting Project Hope scholarship placements in the United States. Coliseum
The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum is the home of the New York Islanders, and is the only professional sports arena on Long Island.  It is owned and managed by SMG, and is located in Uniondale, NY, in the heart of Nassau County.  Please see Directions for different ways to get to the Coliseum.

Concessions
Food stands are located throughout the concourse and offer a variety of food and beverages, including hot dogs, chicken fingers, nachos, popcorn, sushi, soda beer and much more.  Kosher food is available on all game days, excluding Friday and Saturday.  All Coliseum concessions are handled by Aramark, not the New York Islanders.

To Islanders Corporate Office:

Long Island Expressway
Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 48S Round Swamp Road. Eastbound traffic makes a right onto Round Swamp Road at the first light. Westbound traffic makes a left. Follow the bend to the right, into Old Country Road. The office is on the left hand side of the road across the street from the car wash.

 Northern State Parkway
Take Northern State Parkway to Exit 37 Manetto Hill Road. Head south on Manetto Hill Road. Continue straight to Old Country Rd and make a left at the light. The office is one mile down on the right side of the road across the street from the car wash.

Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway
Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway to Old Country Road Exit East. Cross over Manetto Hill Road. The office will be one mile down the road on the right hand side of the road across the street from the car wash.

From Eastern Long Island (South Shore)
Sunrise Highway to Southern State Parkway to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.

From Eastern Long Island (North Shore)
Long Island Expressway West (495) to exit 39 (Glen Cove Road south) to Old Country Road. Turn left and go east for one (1) mile to Merrick Avenue. Turn right to the Nassau Coliseum.

From Manhattan
Battery Tunnel to Belt Parkway, proceeding east to the Southern State Parkway, to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway North) to exit M4, follow signs to Nassau Coliseum. Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway (495) East to exit 38, Northern State Parkway to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.

Donations
Only 501(c)(3) organizations may apply to receive merchandise, memorabilia, and/or monetary donations.  These organizations must be operating on Long Island.  Preferential consideration is applied to organizations that assist children in the areas of hockey, health, and education.  Requests should be submitted to the Islanders Corporate Office, on official letterhead, to the attention of the Community Relations Department.  Please submit all requests at least 6 weeks in advance of any event, and include all relevant information.  Requests may also be faxed to 516.501.6762.

Doolin’s Pub
Doolin’s Pub is located in the Lower Lobby, to the right of the escalators, which can be accessed from the Box Office lobby.  It opens an hour and a half before Islanders games begin and closes an hour after the final buzzer.  Join Steve Mears and Chris King for the post-game radio show at Doolin’s Pub.

Drop-off Policy
Admission into parking lots is not allowed for drop off. Guests will be instructed to the designated drop off area at the Earle Ovington Boulevard entrance.

Elevators
Elevators in the Nassau Coliseum are used only to reach the Islanders Business Club Executive Suite Level and Press Box. Elevator 1 is located between Gates 1 and 20 on the main concourse. Elevator 2 is located between Gates 15 and 16 on the main concourse.

Escalators
Escalators are located in the middle of the Box Office lobby and go down to the Lower Lobby.

Family Fan Fest
The Islanders Family Fan Fest is an interactive NHL theme park geared towards the younger fan.  The Family Fan Fest goes out to local, schools, community festivals, hockey rinks, local charity events, and other similar functions throughout the course of the year bringing the New York Islanders into your neighborhood.   To find out how to get the Family Fan Fest at your event call 516.501.6848.  Click here to view the family fan fest page.

First Aid/Emergency Medical Technicians
The first aid station is located at Gate 5. There are also emergency medical technicians present during all New York Islanders games.

Game Day Guest Services
Our guests’ experience at an Islanders game is our top priority.  On game nights, the Guest Services booth, located at Gate 3 on the concourse, is open from one hour prior to game time through the second intermission.  Ticket information and Guest Services is also available pre-game and during first and second intermissions at Gates 8 and 18.

Ice Girls

Formed in 2001, the Ice Girls are the first group of its kind in the NHL. The Ice Girls perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning the ice surface, entertaining the crowd and in general, making the experience at Islanders games more enjoyable for anyone. Islanders Business Club

Islanders Iceworks

Junior Islanders
The Habberstad Junior Islanders were established by longtime Islander great Bobby Nystrom, and coached by Steve Webb, to educate youths and further the development of ice hockey in and around Long Island through friendly competition, good sportsmanship and professional instruction. Each year, the Junior Islanders send a group of Long Island hockey players to the largest Pee Wee tournament in North America, held annually in Quebec. Lighthouse Project

Lost Children
If you notice a lost child, or your child is lost, please contact a member of the Islanders staff, a security guard, usher or Coliseum employee for assistance. Security is located at Gate 5.

Lost/Stolen Tickets
If you have lost your season ticket, we will do our best to provide you with replacements.  If your season ticket has been stolen, a police report must be received by the New York Islanders immediately, so we can better assist you.  All lost/stolen ticket claims are handled by our customer care staff by calling 1.800.882.ISLES – Ext. 2.  Replacement, bar coded tickets will be then be issued on game by game basis, at Window 1 at the Box Office at the discretion of the New York Islanders.  

Lower Lobby
The Lower Lobby is open to all ticket holders.  The Bohemian Room, Doolin’s Pub, expo center, food concessions, restrooms and entry into the arena at Section 124x, are all accessible through the Lower Lobby.

New York Islanders Children’s Foundation
The New York Islanders Children's Foundation was created in the Summer of 2003, and is dedicated to supporting Long Island-based nonprofit organizations that provide opportunities to children. NYI Blog Box
Open to the public, this one-of-a-kind experience gives a group of fans the opportunity to blog Islanders games in the comfort of the Nassau Coliseum stands, but with added perks. NYI Booster Club
The NYI Booster Club was formed in 1972 and serves as a medium for Islanders fans to meet on a weekly basis to share stories, meet players and organize trips to various Islanders events. Parking
Parking fees for the 2007-2008 season are $6.75 for cars, $14.00 for buses.  Entrances to the Nassau Coliseum parking lot can be found on Hempstead Turnpike and Earle Ovington Blvd.

“Breakaway Parking”, a private lot for season ticket holders on Earle Ovington Blvd., is available for purchase prior to the start of the season by calling  (800) 882 ISLES.  VIP Parking is available for sponsors, Islanders Business Club Executive Suite and premium seating guests. Any problems in the parking lot should be reported to security at Gate 5.

Premium Seating
Islanders Premium Seating includes Promenade and Arena Box seats. These spacious and comfortable seats offer an awesome, unobstructed view of all the action and an exceptional way to watch a game or event, for you, your family, or your business. Public Transportation
Railroad and buses:
Take the Long Island Railroad to one of the following train stations:
Westbury, Garden City or Hempstead.

Taxi service is available from the Westbury and Garden City stations and should be approximately a 10 minute ride. A taxi service is available at these stations by calling 516.333.3131.

From the Hempstead station, walk one (1) block to the Hempstead Bus Terminal. Take the N70, N71, or N72, which will drop you off on Hempstead Turnpike opposite the Nassau Coliseum.

Radio Broadcasts

Restrooms
Women’s restrooms can be found adjacent to Gates 3, 7, 13 and 17. Men’s restrooms are adjacent to Gates 2, 8, 12 and 18. Additional restrooms are located in the Lower Lobby next to the escalators and outside the Coliseum by Gates 1 & 16.

Security
Security is located at Gate 5. Security personnel are also located throughout the Coliseum on game nights. If you should have a problem and require assistance, please contact an Islanders representative, security guard or usher immediately. You can reach security directly by dialing 516.794.9321.

Sparky the Dragon
Sparky has been the Islanders’ mascot since 2000. You can find him roaming the Nassau Coliseum as well as various functions all across Long Island. Smoking
Federal laws prohibit smoking throughout the Nassau Coliseum.  Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking areas located outside Gates 1 and 16.
